The resource should have minimum 5+ years of experience in delivering a highly available, mission critical application. Experience of working as System administrator.

Responsibilities:

• Experience of working in the Live / Production Environment as Linux System Administrator

• Ansible Automation knowledge is a must.

• Experience in administration of bigger Linux environments, number of servers +500 – PRD grade

• Excellent Linux skills, experience with Redhat Linux Enterprise and/or SuSe Linux Enterprise

• Linux Infrastructure (Building, Maintaining and Supporting all aspects of Linux x86 infrastructure with SLES and RHEL)

• Understanding of automation & monitoring concepts and tools.

• Working knowledge on LDAP

• Knowledge on Applying Routine Patches to environment for the involved OS Versions

• Good understanding of processes - ITIL Incident, Problem, Change & Release Management

Desired Skills:

• Experience of working in the Production Support Environment 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an engineering or a technical support role, with exposure to Linux, preferably on highly available, mission critical applications and platforms

• Experience in creating RFE’s (Request for Engineering) , estimations for change requests

• Experience in Airline domain is a plus.
